This is a recipe I first made a few years back, which quickly became a favorite. These are dangerously delicious and it is impossible to have just one. It's the classic Rice Krispie Treat, but sub the Rice Krispies for Cinnamon Toast Crunch/Cinnamon Toasters and throw in some chocolate. Seriously. Only make these if you have others to give them to because it's very possible to eat the whole pan... not that I ever have.... wink wink...
Ingredients:
1 package (10oz)/6 cups mini marshmallows
5 T butter
6 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch/Cinnamon Toasters
6 oz chocolate chips (if you can get the new Triple Chips, DO IT!!!!)
Directions:
Butter a 9" x 13" pan and set aside.
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the marshmallows and butter. Once fully melted, stir in cereal when they are about half way mixed, add in chocolate and stir.
Once everything is mixed up, spread into prepared pan and let sit for about 10 - 15 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve.
